Energy and focusing 120605.jpg
This exercise is part of Divine Body Practice

In the spiritual dimension, and also in the realm of energies, you only notice and you can only use and work with what you focus on.

Exercise: First make yourself aware of your own energy, this means you become conscious of yourself being an energy body, and your actions come from this energy. You can do this walking, standing or sitting.

When after some time your awareness of this has strengthened, you focus on the energy of the things around you, a tree, a rock, the sun, a house, the stars, a field. You try to notice the difference in feeling that comes to you from all these different objects.

When you come closer to an object you can feel its energy better. When you focus more, your sense of the energy also improves. You will notice that as you center on these different objects, you get different feelings. A tree may please you, a garbage can may put you off, etc.

Notice that these different feelings are not only in yourself. These feelings come from you responding to something that comes from this object. The object could also be a person.

Your thought may go to certain people, for example if someone has made an object, his or her energy is in it and when you focus on that object you may sense something of her or his energy.

Why is this exercise useful? Only the energy you focus on you can be aware of and work with. Sometimes people think that this awareness is only in their own thoughts, but your own input is mostly in your effort to become aware of an energy, and the energy of the person or thing has its own reality.

Try to increase your ability to concentrate. Don't let distracting thoughts enter your mind.

This exercise is also a preparation for life in the spirit world, because in the spirit world many things are directed by and determined by those who can sense energies and work with them.
