  • (fr) exemple de culture de Arnica montana en Écosse (juillet 2004). Cette culture est située en Écosse, au nord d'Inverness à environ 150 m d'altitude.
Cette culture d'Arnica montana fonctionne sous la forme d'une rotation culturale où pendant quatre années se récoltent quelques dizaines de kilogrammes de capitules secs sur chaque parcelles de 1000m². Cinq parcelles de cette taille ont ainsi un développement échelonné afin de permettre une production de plante entière annuelle d'environ 800 kg frais. Les plants sont cultivés sur des buttées de terre, recouvertes d'une bâche afin de limiter les adventices, avec un espacement d'environ 40 cm. Les plants de culture sont élancés et fins contrairement aux plants sauvages souvent trapus. Les capitules sont récoltés puis séchés, en laissant quelques fleurs pour la récolte des graines. Ces capitules récoltés sont destinés aux laboratoires pharmaceutiques, principalement Weleda.
