During our meditations and energy exercises we are consciously or unconsciously working with what i call the energy body. In various literature the energy body is also called the 'light body.'

What is the energy body? The energy body is a body that exists on the level of energy only. It is the body of energy that is the originating source of how our bodies are formed. With bodies here is meant not only the physical body but also the spiritual body. The energy body can also be seen as the first level of expression of who we are as a soul.

The energy body has its origin in the soul, or my or your personal identity and most inner being in front of the Creator. The energy body grows as we grow and is affected by whatever affects our spiritual and physical bodies.

In former exercises in this series we practiced with what was called 'Creation energy,' or an energy that creates everything, from which all life comes and that has its origin in God. This is an energy that we can perceive in us on the heart level. Of course this energy has an expression in everyone and everything that has life, but to feel it during meditation we need to concentrate on the heart or love level of our being.
