Medicinal use
Calendula is one of these plants that once you have them in your garden, you'll always have them. They easily sow themselves out again, that is if you don't weed too vigorously. So they grow on several places in my garden.
I pick them fresh and use the flower petals in salads. The fresh petals are an excellent healing agent for whatever wounds or problems you or children have with their skin.
