Chunks of information
- For pre-sowing in pots i use lava grit to cover the seeds. Above the seed a layer of lava grit of about twice the thickness of the size of the seeds. Using lava grit makes it easier to control the delicate process of pre-sowing. It protects against drying out and it's easier to know how thick the layer is above the seeds. It also keeps the seeds at their place when watering the pots.
