Fundamental energy structure - Three levels

This is the first of some articles about the Fundamental Energy Structure of both a human being and the cosmos as a whole. When you understand this structure and can feel it in yourself, it will very much help you will all energy exercises you perform in Divine Body Practice.

The diagram shows the energy structure. The circles are chakras, or switchwheels, or energy centers. These energy centers show up and are felt as wheels of energy. They also store energy and function to store energy. The switchwheels can be turned off and on as if they were switches, allowing energy to enter or pass through or be kept inside the chakra.

Whenever you do energy exercises with the body, you consciously or unconsciously are working with these energy centers.

The energy centers of the human being are not only inside, but through channels are also connected to energy and energy sources outside.

Because the human being is a microcosm, the structure of the human energy centers is the same as that of the entire cosmos.

First level - Heart: Heaven and Earth

The most internal level on which energy works in us is that of the Heart. It is the level on that our motivation functions. We have desires and from desire comes love. This level of existence also corresponds to the purpose for which the cosmos, and we as human beings were created.

There is a source of all energy in the cosmos. That source, of course, is God. From God, energy goes out into the cosmos. We as human beings and creations of God are also directly connected to the source, and to the source energies.

The sources energies together are called Heaven. The word 'Heaven' is sometimes also used to refer to God and all beings in the spirit world who are thought to spiritually control our lives. Here, however, the word 'Heaven' is used in the sense of originating energies.

As we are created by God, to us was given a ground to grow on. That ground, for us, is the Earth. The Earth is the second of two opposite poles, one being Heaven, one being Earth. All existence in the cosmos moves between these two poles, of Heaven or origin, and Earth or ground.

Source energies move from God and Heaven to the place where everything centers on for God, the Earth where human beings are living.

The energies of Heaven and Earth do actually form two major switchwheels in us. Later more will be explained about these specific switchwheels.

Second level - Mind: Seven chakras

The source energies of Heaven, operating on the level of Heart, and the ground energies of Earth, also operating on the level of Heart, do express in the cosmos and in us as energies operating on the level of mind. These energies can be divided in seven different ones, and are controlled by the seven chakras, as you commonly find them described in literature about chakras.

Heaven, or its energy on an internal level, expresses in three main energies, those of Original Love, Love and Ether. These energies are controlled by the Crown Chakra (Original Love), Forehead Chakra (or Third Eye, Love), and the Throat Chakra (Ether, or mind energy).

Earth, or its energy on an internal level, also expresses in three main energies, those of Earth, Water and Fire. These energies are controlled by the Root Chakra (Earth, here meant as a collection of Earth energies that we receive from the Earth through the root chakra), Belly Chakra (Water, water in the sense of an energy), and the Solar Chakra (Fire, fire in the sense of an energy of heat or warmth).

The energies that come from Heaven as they are expressed in a human and also in the cosmos as a whole, the upper three energies controlled by the highest three of seven chakras, and the energies that come from Earth as they are expressed in a human and also in the cosmos as a whole, the lower three energies controlled by the lowest three of seven chakras, these upper and lower three energies and chakras meet each other in the central chakra with is that of the Heart. The Heart Chakra controls the energy of air.

It is through the energy of air that we come to life and that we express our love into the world.

Third level - Body: One chakra

Heaven and Earth are two poles between which we exist. Heaven and Earth as source energies enter our being and divide into seven energies on the level of the mind chakras. When Heaven and Earth are fully united in us and the seven energies of the mind level unite, there comes about the energy structure of the human body, which is similar in structure to that of the cosmos as a whole.

That final switchwheel is the body switchwheel, which is one united energy sphere, that orbits around a center and an axis. The energy of the body resembles the energy sphere of the earth. It has an energy field around it and it has two poles, one being in the head and the other one between the feet. The center of this united body switchwheel is the center of gravity in the body. Sometimes this energy center is referred to as Dantian.

This one body chakra can also be seen as the unity of three switchwheels: The one in the center of the body, one coordination switchwheel in the head between the ears (forming one of the poles), and the balance switchwheel between the feet (forming the other pole).

When the body switchwheel is seen as one united chakra, there are a total of 10 main chakras (Heaven and Earth; seven mind chakras; Body Chakra). When we see the body switchwheel as three switchwheels (center and two poles), we come to a total of 12 fundamental chakras that make up the energy system of the human being.
