Spiritual spheres in the physical world

The spirit world is not only a world that we enter after death of the physical body, it's also all around us all the time. In fact, as our situations change we always move from sphere to sphere. A sphere in a spiritual sense is like a cloud of feelings and thoughts that surrounds us. Different spiritual spheres have different levels of awareness. While being in one spiritual environment you can fe

el God, in other spheres you only feel hatred.

One of the aspects of spiritual growth is that we learn to recognize these various spheres as we enter these, move through them and leave again. This can happen several times a day, but, for example, when you are a member of a political party or a church, it may be that you are continuously affected by the feelings and ways of thinking that go around in such an environment.

People often are dominated by the spheres they live in. They barely notice how they are influenced and find it difficult to move up to higher spheres of love and compassion.

You can learn to recognize such spiritual spheres by paying attention to the changes that occur when you, for example, move from the street into a house or room with people. People generally notice such changes in atmosphere, but less often realize that there is a spiritual element to this.

You can learn to recognize different spheres with your spiritual senses. Some people can see such spheres in colors, other people can pick up thoughts and feelings of such a sphere without actually speaking to people.

Prayer and reflection help to not be dominated by such spiritual spheres.

The spirit world from the viewpoint of energy

Unless our spiritual self and physical self are united, we cannot relate well to the spirit world and we cannot help to unite the spiritual and the physical world. The spirit world and the physical world are very much disunited right now. Too many evil angels and spirits are influencing life on earth and too many people living in the physical world have no idea about the reality of spiritual life. That's why it's a goal to unite the spirit world and the physical world. We can help with this, or take part in this, only when we first manage to unite our own spiritual self and physical self.

From a viewpoint of energy, both the physical world and the spirit world are made of energy. The physical world is an expression of energy of a lower vibration. The spirit world is an expression of energy of a higher vibration and also contains more energy. It's a bit like the difference between water damp and solid ice. Water damp molecules have more energy and vibrate more. Ice molecules have less energy and vibrate less.

It's easier to learn to relate to what is more solid, therefore we first live in the physical world to learn about the essence of life. We learn to use our senses and we should make progress in this during the physical life, so we know how to relate to the world of higher energy and vibration once we enter the spirit world.

To unite these two levels of energy, we need to be aware of our higher existence. This higher existence is that of the soul. Our soul lives on a more internal level and is closer to God than our spirit self and physical self. It is therefore by living in the awareness of being a soul united with God that we can learn about the spirit world and we can unite our spiritual and physical selves.

It's interesting that when we look at the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, there is a continuum of variation in the frequency and wavelength. But at the same time, there are strict dividing lines. For example, there is a bandwidth of waves of visible light, and there is a bandwidth of waves of higher energy, such as ultraviolet light, gamma rays and x-rays. We can experience the effect of ultraviolet and higher frequency radiation, but we cannot see those waves with our physical senses.
