Chunks of information
- Tansy is planted alongside potatoes to repel the Colorado potato bug. It is sometimes placed on window sills to repel flies. Tansy is highly toxic to internal parasites and has been used by herbalists to expel worms for centuries. Tansy was formerly used as a flavoring for puddings and omelets, but is almost unknown now. For many years, Tansy has been used as a medicinal herb. Irish folklore of the mid-1800s suggests bathing in a solution of Tansy and salt as a cure for joint pain. (most information from Wikipedia)
