A turnip cultivar that can grow roots of ca 2 kg. Turnips can withstand quite heavy frost. This photo was taken in midwinter after several nights of frost.

  • This is a big turnip of ca. 1 kg. Because i had read that these turnips are hardy, i had not protected them with straw. However, the root has become soft after a longer period of frost and can probably not be used for consumption.
