A turnip cultivar that can grow roots of ca 2 kg. Turnips can withstand quite heavy frost. This photo was taken in midwinter after several nights of frost.
Big turnip greens. These grew almost 1 meter high. They're still soft and edible. I've never had them grown so big. Maybe they liked growing in the shadow of the capucijner peas that you can see left in the background. In the background right there's rye.
