The Bible is a book of truth, yet not everyone finds truth in this book.

The meaning of our lives is rather much a thing of discovering truth. If we would not be able to understand deeper truth, we would rather live like animals. Life gets exciting and fulfilling when we discover new truth each day and learn to practice it. Practicing truth is how we grow internally and spiritually and harmoniously.

Just like our external world has entirely changed by inventions that scientists made and by the application of new technologies, so we can develop our spiritual life by finding new truth. Of course, using this analogy we also see the danger. Not all new technologies are so desirable and not all internal 'truth' is always desirable.

So how do we find new truth? Do we find it in books? Yes and no. Do we get it through revelations? Yes and no. Do we develop it logically? Yes, but only partly.

You must know that i believe in God the Creator. I am pretty much open for many views on God. The God of my visions is large enough to entail many interpretations and views to understand Him/Her. I cannot agree with those who think there is no Creating Force. The main reason for this is that i would also not agree when someone would tell me that i don't have a head. I know for certain that i have a head and just as certainly i know that i have a relation to God.

So the Creator created everything and we already know that principles are underlying the structure of both the inner and the outer cosmos. The cosmos wasn't built at random and because principles were applied we can find laws and order behind all that is. We refer to this order and lawfulness as 'truth.' This truth is for a part more external, applying to the physical world, and for another part it is more internal, applying to the spiritual world and to our inner lives. There are no two truths though. The real truth is one, unifies spiritual and physical certainties, unifies internal and external understanding. All truth comes from the same God.

So, how do we get to know our truth? All the truth written in books is entirely uninteresting as long as i don't have my truth. Truth is always my truth or your truth. It is my truth that is a beacon on my way. It is your truth that makes you live the life that is best for you. My truth, your truth, that is all that matters.

All truth comes originally from God. When someone discovered truth and wrote it in a book, this truth also came from God because the Creator made all truth. The main question is how do i receive truth? Just reading books doesn't do. The truth is essentially truth of love. All truth that comes from God is truth of love. Truth that is not truth of love doesn't come from God and is not really true. The real truth tells us to do good, tells us to love, tells us how to develop in an original way.

Someone may read a book with truth and not grasp the content. It happens all the time. People get into a quarrel about details in religious books and in the end they may even fight wars over that. The truth cannot enter your heart if you did not make your heart a heart of love. The real truth is truth of love and when you are not practicing good love, your heart will be closed for the truth. You will make up your own truth, that is a false truth, make up your own mind. Psychologically seen this is what happens when someone made some offence and justifies it afterward. The personal truth gets adapted to the misdeeds that were done.

The question is then how to make your heart more loving, because when you do, it opens for more truth. That truth may just fall into you, like lightning that strikes you. You develop your love by offering. Because the truth comes from God, you can receive it by offering your love to God. These offerings may take many forms, but always they should be based on love. Offering your love to God always implies offering your love to fellow man. God's heart is to love man and when you love your fellow man, you send to God an offering of love.

The offerings brought to God build what was called a Foundation of Faith (FOF). The FOF is also the foundation to receive the truth in your heart. This is an essential meaning of the FOF. In practice this means that you can understand more truth after you have brought good offerings to God. If you didn't, your heart closes and your mind won't understand deeper truth.

An expanded FOF is called a Foundation of Substance (FOS). The FOS means that you fulfilled passing on love to another person and as a result that person will unite with you in love. This person will also become open for the truth and therefore the FOS can also be called the foundation to spread the truth.

Feel free to ask me any questions about this as the concepts are quite hard to understand in the beginning. You may also try to make offerings of love and see if it works. Remember, not all love is really love. With love i don't mean self-centered egoistic love, but love that is good for others.
