980413 - The Three-Dimensional Position of each person in God's World

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS BUILT BASED ON SEVEN PILLARS AND FOUR FLOORS. THE SEVEN PILLARS ARE THE ELEMENTS OUT OF WHICH GOD'S WORLD IS BUILT. THE FOUR FLOORS REPRESENT PREPARATION STAGE AND THREE GROWTH STAGES OF GOD'S WORLD.

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN MUST BE BUILT WITH INDIVIDUALS. EACH PERSON IS IDENTIFIED BY A THREE-DIMENSIONAL POSITION. THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN CAN ONLY BE BUILT WHEN EACH PERSON FULFILS THE DEMANDS REQUIRED BY EACH OF THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL POSITIONS.

1. THE FIRST POSITION IS THE FAMILY POSITION, WHICH IS DETERMINED BY BIRTH. EACH PERSON IS BORN IN A FAMILY UNDER GOD, OR GETS A POSITION AS DISCIPLE OR ARCHANGEL IN A FAMILY UNDER GOD.

2. THE SECOND POSITION IS THE FORMULA-COURSE POSITION, WHICH IS DETERMINED BY SPIRITUAL AGE. YOU COULD BE ATTENDANT, TRAINEE, PATIENT, OR HAVE ANOTHER POSITION IN THIS RESPECT.

3. THE THIRD POSITION IS THAT DETERMINED BY MISSION. EACH PERSON RECEIVES FROM GOD A HEAVENLY MISSION AND A WORLDLY MISSION. MISSION DETERMINES AN EXTERNAL POSITION. (Bk 101-27)

980831 - About God’s Word

I shall try to give you a new understanding about the meaning of God's Word. God's Word has an internal meaning and an external one.

The internal meaning of God's Word is that God's Word is the DESIGN or PLAN for God's creations. The external meaning of God's Word is that God's Word, as it is given to you in some kind of form is a way of communication between God and you. Through God's Word given to you God speaks to you directly. Through God's Word given to you, you can get an understanding of God's Heart.

God created man, and God created the world of creation. God created the earth on which you are living. You are dependent of the world, the earth on which you live. God's Word is the essence of you. You are an expression of God's Word, because God's Word, in essence is God’s plan for making you.

How precious God's Word is!!! God's Word is not just a technical design, but it is a creation given to enable God's love to become expressed in you. Without God's Word, God's love couldn't be expressed adequately. God's love is higher than God's Word, but without God's Word God's love means nothing.

When you cannot so easily relate to God directly, when God gives the Word to you it is like you get a personal letter from God. God speaks to you and expresses God’s love to you in written or another form. God communicates with you through God's Word. When you take God's Word very seriously, then bit by bit you can come to know God and you can learn to work to become an original creation of God. You can become like God designed you, if you take God's Word seriously and you bring it into practice.

Through God's Word you are informed how to act and live right. By living in the right way you can become again an original creation of God.

Please take God's Word very seriously. I always have been crazy to find out more about God, my Father, and about how God wanted me to live, by studying God's Word, again and again, and then trying to practice it. (Bk 101-10)

980908 - Archangels' task to protect

When God has asked you to fulfil a mission in God's world, you soon become aware of the fact that you get involved in present situations that parallel historic ones. Although people are people and not angels, there is a reason why you come to be called as archangels or disciples. That reason has everything to do with history.

In the past Adam failed his mission as man. Adam became dominated by angels to such a degree that Adam became himself like an angel. People descend from fallen Adam, and in people are the characteristics of fallen Adam. It would not be wrong to tell you: just behave as original Adam should and forever forget about your task as an archangel. If you would be able to act like original Adam, all of a sudden, after you strongly determined yourself to do so, then such a scenario of restoration would work. But unfortunately in people are so many bad habits that we would never be able to behave like original Adam.

There has to be a course for us to go, a course in which we are being trained and we are able to bit by bit change ourselves. Such a course is not a sudden leap, from being fallen to being good, but such a road helps you to make small steps, leaving evil behind and inheriting goodness.

That course is the course of restoration, which must also be seen as a course of recreation. You have got to recreate yourself. In order for something to be restored or recreated, you can only start from where you have fallen. If you are a very distorted personality you have got to do a lot of restoration. The more you sinned in your life the deeper you fell, and consequently restoration will be very complicated for you.

One could make a description of the successive stages through which you have to move in order to restore yourself. When you have fulfilled to give birth to God's children, you have become a parent. When you have fulfilled to reach individual maturity under God, you have become perfected child. When you are on your way to maturity, and you have already become reborn as God's child, you are restored child. When you aren't yet reborn, but did already leave behind the worst evil traditions, you are white archangel. If you are still very sinful, you are black archangel.

980908 - Checking yourself

There is no spiritual life without checking yourself all the time. From outside of you through the sinful world, and from inside of you through your own deeply-rooted fallen nature, there are coming continuous dangerous attacks and temptations. Therefore, you must make it a strong tradition to daily check yourself many times.

What is to be checked? What are you doing now? Is it God's Will what you do now or did you act from automatic habit? What are you thinking and feeling now? Is your mind centered on God or are you falling into evil patterns? Where is your love going now? Is your love liked by God or does God hate it?

Such checks are necessary to be done, in the evening to check the past day, and many times during the day. (Bk 101-14)

980908 - God's Word throughout history

1. What is the foundation which is needed for God to be able to give His Word to man? 2. When were such foundations made in history? 3. What happened to God's Word in such historic situations? 4. How about God's Word in present and future? (in 'Secret Teaching') These are four questions answered in this article.

The foundation for God's Word

For God to be able to give His Word to man, man must make a foundation. Fact is that God already wants to give His Word. All which is needed is that man is ready to receive God's Word. Several conditions must be fulfilled by man. Man must be able to think clearly. For instance, God could not give His Word to a just-born baby or to a senile old man. Man must have developed a certain understanding and knowledge on the base of which God can reveal new words. For instance, if you did not know about the people of the Old Israel, it would be hard for God to reveal you something based upon their history. Furthermore, God's Word should fit into your situation, and you should be ready for new development.

The most important condition to receive God's Word is, however, your own desire for God and your faith in God. Only when you have good faith in God you will also believe in God's words spoken to you. Therefore, we speak about the Foundation of Faith needed for receiving God's Word. Such a foundation of faith has to be made by man, by you and by me. Each individual person is responsible to make a foundation of faith. Such a foundation of faith is made by PROVING YOUR LOVE FOR GOD.

How can one prove his love for God? You prove your love for God by being obedient to God, by doing God's Will, and by connecting your accomplishments in the right way to God. Such should be done during a certain time period.

Summarizing, to make a foundation of faith, there is needed a central person (you and me), who obeys God's order over a certain time period, and who brings to God offerings in an acceptable manner.

When you are so lucky that there is someone around you who developed a deeper relation to God than you did, it often is much easier for you to receive God's Word. You still must make an individual foundation of faith, but by connecting yourself in the right position to such a more heavenly person, you can grow quicker in faith. Furthermore, God can often give His Word to you not only directly to you, but also through this spiritually elder person.

By relating to such a more central person in the right way, you are making a Foundation of Substance, which means that the faith foundation of this elderly person has substantiated itself by your inheriting of his foundation of faith. You still are responsible to make your own foundation of faith, but this goes easier and quicker when you fulfill to make a foundation of substance.

Historic foundations to receive God's Word

At several moments in time God has been able to give His Word to man. Most of these moments are unrecorded. Often God answered prayers of people. Such people did not make the effort to write it down. Such often was the case with people asking God for personal guidance. Or it was written down but not recognized as coming from God. That often happened with many scientific discoveries.

It is important to know that God does and can speak to each individual. God always has done this. In history, God chose central persons to execute tasks to advance God's Providence of Restoration. To such people, God attempted to give much of God's Word. Such words were not meant just for that one individual, but they were given to be passed on to many others, in present and future. Such a historic foundation of faith to receive God's Word was usually connected to a period of time which had been prepared by God over many preceding centuries. That means that the conditions for a strong foundation of faith had been preserved and conserved over sometimes many centuries, and then were centred on and given to one central person of faith.

Such was the case for people like Moses, Jesus and Moon. One could say that those people received words from God from a treasure kept from the past. Their foundation of faith had been built up by thousands of their ancestors. Those ancestors had a certain right on that foundation of faith, and consequently also the later descendants of such a central person and his ancestors have such right. God's Word given to such central people was surely not the exclusive right of those central people. Those central people like Jesus and Moon were responsible that the words they received from God were passed on to others in the right way.

What happened to God's Word in such historic situations?

Unfortunately, God's Word given in history, with a meaning going beyond the private realm, has not been kept very well.

When you receive God's Word, you receive it upon a foundation of faith, which is made by yourself, but very often also is a result of efforts of others. Those others might be ancestors, or a central person to whom you are connected. You actually get more of God's Word then is what you deserve by your own doings. That could be very dangerous. If you are proud of the words you receive from God and do not understand how much of the merit of others invested to that, you could easily leave your position and misuse such words for your own benefit.

Then you would not any more be very critical if the words you speak or write down are still really coming from God, but you could mix God's words with your own thoughts. God's Word gets polluted with evil. There is danger that books with such words are then going to be misused not only by the central person but also by his followers. That actually happened with God's Word spoken to Jesus, and God's Word spoken to Moon. The books from their traditions are a mixture of Divine words and nonsense. It is almost impossible to find out what is pure in it and what not. (Bk 101-16)

980912 - Another view on good and evil

How can evil be recognized, around us in people in the world? How can goodness be recognized?

When you try to find God, one of the most difficult problems, always again, is that you are going to be influenced by evil people around you. Often the evil in such people is very difficult to recognize and then you are going to be dominated by them.

Suppose you meet someone who all the time is studying God's principles. This person, let's call him J, not only has good knowledge of God's principles, he also tries to apply them in many ways. He brings offerings to God all the time, daily makes long prayer conditions, and is furthermore recognized as a good teacher of such principles. Can you, based on the facts just provided, conclude whether that person is good or evil? Test yourself, what do you think? Stop reading here, and ask yourself what you're thinking.

Actually, that person J could either be a very heavenly and good person, or he could as well be an extremely evil person. Lucifer, as Satan, had very good knowledge of God's principles, and he actually used God's principles all the time for building his evil world. Cain did offer to God, yet God could not accept his offerings, and Cain was actually under Satan. Lucifer was a teacher of God's principles, but did not want to put himself under God.

Yet, a heavenly person, centred on God, living as God's child, also will be serious in living God's principles, he will be happy to offer to God, and could be a good teacher of God's principles.

So, that person J, based on the information given until now, could be good, but could also be evil. It is rather simple to say now that it depends on the motivation of J. When J has good motivation and love for God then he is good. When J has evil motivation and no love for God then he is evil. To say this is true.

But in this article i want to draw your attention to another difference between the good J and the evil J. The good J, standing in the object position to God, wants to fulfil God's ideal in order to make God happy. The evil J, who does not want to take the object position to God, wants to fulfil an ideal in order to make himself happy. The good J wants to fulfil God's original Ideal, the evil J wants to fulfil a copy of God's Ideal.

To say it short: GOODNESS IS TO STRIVE FOR GOD'S ORIGINAL IDEAL. EVIL IS TO STRIVE FOR A COPY OF GOD'S IDEAL.

One person is not the other person. Most people are unaware of the reality of spirit world, which relates to God's Fourth Blessing. But people are quite much aware of the first three Blessings of God: the Blessing of individual perfection, the Blessing of a happy family life, and the Blessing of having dominion over the things of creation. While one person all the time has his mind centred on growing in his career and in his abilities to become a better craftsman, or intellectual, or artist, and so on (First Blessing), another person just gets crazy of the thought of having a nice wife for himself, and maybe later some children (Second Blessing). Again other people focus their desires on the Third Blessing and want to have many properties to have dominion over them.

Goodness is to desire for God's Blessings in the way that God wants you to receive them. Evil is to desire for the same blessings, but not under the conditions set by God.

Goodness is to let yourself be trained by God, and wait for God's Blessings until they are given to you. Evil is to not want to wait for God's blessing, but you take them by yourself and for yourself, while you are not yet qualified to have good dominion in such fields. Goodness is to connect your own developments to God, wanting to let God experience the joy of having children who enjoy the blessings that God gave them and for which they qualified. The ideal world which they are building up is a real world because God is the real centre.

Evil is to make your own ideal world by studying principles that originally came from God, but which you twisted to your own liking. In that case, what you build up is a copy of God's ideal. Your copy may quite much look like the original, but you did not qualify for it and you do not have a good relation to God.

Evil is: to make your life into a copy of the life as planned by God. Such an evil copy is a copy of the Three Blessings. Some evil people focus especially on a copy of the First Blessing, others focus on the Second Blessing, or on the Third Blessing. Some people want to make a copy of all Three Blessings.

It could also be that for some time in your life, you get stuck because you fell for a temptation of the second blessing, while actually you are more inclined to be tempted in first-blessing realms. There are many possibilities. But the essence of being evil is that you don't want to put yourself under God's conditions, that you take what isn't given to you, that you eat of the forbidden fruit, that you then cannot but have to build a copy of God's ideal. God's Ideal has become unreachable, but you still want the joys of God's Ideal and therefore you take it for yourself.

Which people go for copies? People who sacrificed their love for God for getting quick satisfaction. People of weak character, who failed to fulfil the tasks given to them. Evil is not only a matter of being against God, it also can be a matter of giving in to weakness of character. (Bk 101-19)

980913 - Good and evil trade in relation to God

Following up on the last TAO Times article to get deeper insight in good and evil: there is a relation between God and man in which there is exchange of goods. We could call this the trading between God and man. What is good trade and what is evil trade? Where do you stand in this respect? Are you a good tradesman, good in the sense of having goodness in you, or are you trying to make unlawful advantage?

Let us try to find a definition of what should be considered trading in good manners, and of trading in bad manners. When there is a salesman in the world who tries to sell articles, it depends on his motivation if this salesman must be considered a good or an evil trader. In God's view, a good salesman tries to serve fellow men by making to them available goods of which they are in need. Of course, the salesman, in return, can ask to be paid for this. The salesman is happy, because he could serve other people, and by doing that he himself can make his financial foundation stronger, enabling him to do still more for other people in the future.

Usually, in the world, this is not how it goes. Commonly, a salesman exploits the fact that people have no easy access to certain articles. By providing people with such commodities, the salesman tries to take advantage of the situation by getting as rich as possible. The salesman's motivation is not to serve fellow men, but it is to make himself richer, to the cost of the money pockets of others.

Of course, many salesmen do not just have evil motivation. Some of them also try to serve other people, sometimes, or sometimes a little bit.

From the internal viewpoint, to judge if a salesman is good or evil, we must know about his motivation. If he tries to really serve other people we consider him to be a good person. If he only tries to serve himself in the end, then we must consider him to be evil.

From the external viewpoint, to judge if a certain salesman is good or evil we can determine the following: if he tries to trade commodities of little value for goods of much more value, he is likely to be evil. If he tries to sell his articles for a reasonable price, without trying to exploit the situation, he is likely to be a good person.

Now, coming back to your relation to God, how is it for you? In the relation to God, God gives to you, among else: God's love, God's guidance in the form of answering your prayers or in the form of God's Word, God's creation, God's direct but often invisible help in many situations, and so on, and so on. What do you give to God? You are the salesman who must provide God with articles which otherwise aren't available to God. Such as: your love, your good prayers to God, your creativity through which you increase in value God's creation, your financial offerings through which you return to God what got lost for God, and so on, and so on.

There is going on trade between God and you. From the inner viewpoint we can conclude that if you try to serve God and want to offer to Him in order to make Him happy, than you can be considered a good salesman. But what if you try to get as much as possible from God but to God you only give things of much lesser value? In that case you are an evil person. You should check yourself if what you give to God is of the highest value, or whether it actually has a low value. Do you try to outsmart God?

For instance if you try to pay God off with cheap money and from God you demand forgiveness for your sins, then you are an evil tradesman. Because from God you demand articles with the highest value, God's love for you, but to God you only give the products of lesser value, the money which has only as much value as you give it by producing it with either a good heart or with an evil heart.

In the tradition of the Roman Catholic church it was usage that with money you could buy indulgences, which was a written church paper to assure that your sins were forgiven. Such a practice is very evil.

To become a good person in God's world it is essential that you rid yourself from such evil customs. Make sure that your first and main motivation is to deepen your personal relation to God, by making God happy, day in day out. Then surely God will give to you in abundance His Blessings to you. (Bk 101-20)

980920 - The Principle of Foundations

The Principle of Foundations is derived from The Principle of Growth, in which it is stated that growth takes place over time through three regular stages that follow upon each other. Essential for growth is the correct relation between subject and object centered on a purpose. Through a regular process of growth new creations are being made, under God.

A FOUNDATION IS DEFINED AS A CREATION MADE BY GOD AND MAN. WHEN IT IS NEEDED TO MAKE A FOUNDATION FOR GOD, THIS ONLY IS POSSIBLE UPON A FORMER FOUNDATION WHICH WAS OFFERED TO GOD AND WHICH WAS ACCEPTED BY GOD. THERE IS A STRICT ORDER FOR SUCCESSIVE FOUNDATIONS. THIS ORDER IS SET BY GOD. THE PRINCIPLE OF FOUNDATIONS IS VALID BOTH FOR FOUNDATIONS MADE BY INDIVIDUALS AS WELL AS FOR FOUNDATIONS MADE BY GROUPS. EACH NEW FOUNDATION OFFERED TO GOD SHOULD NOT ONLY FOLLOW IN RIGHT ORDER ON A FORMER FOUNDATION, BUT THAT FOUNDATION SHOULD ALSO FIT RIGHTLY INTO LARGER FOUNDATIONS IN THE HANDS OF OTHERS. IF FOUNDATIONS ARE MADE WHICH ARE EITHER NOT OFFERED TO GOD, OR NOT ACCEPTED BY GOD, OR NOT RIGHTLY FITTING INTO OLDER AND BROADER FOUNDATIONS, THEN SUCH FOUNDATIONS EITHER MUST BE RESTORED, OR THEY MUST BE DESTROYED IF THEY ARE TOO EVIL. (Bk 101-23)

980927 - Why everyone needs three archangels

To receive from God the task to take care of three archangels is a very wonderful and gratifying experience. The principled reason for the need of three archangels is the following: Each individual and each creation can only stand in a stable way in existence by way of being anchored in a correct four-position foundation. A correct four-position foundation is a four-position foundation in which God is the center. Actually, for you as individual, there are two connected four-position foundations, necessary to be fulfilled for your own individual perfection:

First four-position foundation

First position: God

Second and third position: Mind & Body

Fourth position: You

Second four-position foundation

Fourth (new first position): You

Fifth and sixth position: Archangel 1 & Archangel 2

Seventh position: Archangel 3

What you see here are two connected four-position foundations. The first one is internal and refers to yourself as individual in whom mind and body are united and becoming full-grown centering on God. The second four-position foundation is external and refers to yourself as central individual, representing God to three other individuals who are taking the functions and positions of archangels. In God's universe, there always has to be unity of internal and external. The structure of God's universe is built upon the four-position foundation and that four-position foundation also can only function if there are united internal and external four-position foundations.

That means that for you to reach individual perfection, you must be united with God, your mind and body have to be united, and you should also become the central subject to three archangels. When you count the number of positions you see that there are seven. The number seven, therefore, is the number of perfection.

This only was an introduction to explain you about the need for three archangels relating to you. In the original ideal situation Adam had three archangels. Seen from Adam's viewpoint Adam's task was, in short, to learn to become subject to his archangels. That meant that Adam's task was to grow older and wiser to be able to govern his three archangels.

Seen from the viewpoint of the archangels, their task in relation to Adam was to protect Adam, to educate Adam and to serve Adam. Disciples are also archangels, so you also see here a description of disciples' tasks in relation to their model parents.

When you take responsibility for your archangels, you will grow. You will learn to overcome evils in yourself, and you will learn to help your archangels without being dominated by them, and you will be able to please God with your results.

What is it what you should do in relation to your archangels? You must restore yourself as Adam or Eve and you must help your archangels to restore themselves as archangels, first becoming good archangels, and later becoming central people themselves who have to be restored as Adam or Eve.

In a practical sense, this could mean many tasks for you. I mention several of them to you, which are not always absolute demands to you, but which you could take as good advice: -- pray daily for your three archangels, for their good future -- pray daily for your three archangels, what you must do to help them through guidance and actions -- pray daily about your three archangels, to be able to judge their problems, again and again -- find out what problems your archangels are having -- report about your archangels in your weekly reports to your restoration- or model parents -- find out why you got these three particular archangels (you will see that this tells you much about yourself).

Eventually, you must be able to set your three archangels on their course to God. This, however, will never work unless you yourself are giving the example to them. When you fail, your archangels usually tell you that you fail because they will fail much more and make you much trouble and dominate you. If you fulfil, but one of your archangels fails, then God will give you a new archangel, in time. Sometimes, you get three particular archangels for longer time, until you separated yourself from a kind of common evil in you and these archangels.

God can have many different good reasons to give to you particular archangels. Trust God, and do always take good responsibility for one of your main tasks in your course of restoration. Your other main task in restoration is your relation to your model parents. You yourself should learn to become a model parent to your archangels. (Bk 101-25)

980929 - In our lives everything is restoration

Most people have no idea what life is about. They live from day to day, or they pursue some kind of own goal in their lives. These goals usually are rather materialistic and external. From their way of living, they interpret the events around them. If you only live from day to day, then you have good and pleasant days, or bad and unpleasant days. You don't think much more or deeper about it. When you pursue a clear goal, you interpret occurring events in a deeper way, but still, never beyond the limits of the goal which you did set.

Our goal should be the greatest goal. That is the purpose which we don't put up ourselves, but which is given to us by God Almighty. The purpose for our life given by God, is that we become the way God wants us to be. That is: an ideal, perfected individual. Ideal means: ever developing into higher and wider standards. Perfected means: perfected in your love to God.

In order for us to become the way God wants us to be we must be recreated or restored. Therefore, in God's eyes, everything which we experience is restoration. This is not only so because God thinks so or wants it like that, but it is the real reality of everyone's life. Of course, most people are not aware of this reality of restoration, but also their lives are really always a life of restoration. Maybe nothing is restored in their lives, and then such a life is a life of fall.

That our lives are lives of restoration is true for every individual, regardless if you want it or know it or don't want it or don't know it. So it is better to know about it because that gives you advantage. Still better is it to also know about principles of restoration, because then you can apply them and grow quicker.

Many people restore themselves to a certain degree, without understanding much about restoration. Some people fail terribly, although they know much about restoration principles. (Bk 101-27)

980930 - Reaching the goals that God has given us

How far does our responsibility reach when God has given us a goal to be fulfilled? Suppose God gives us a goal which we cannot fulfil, how should we feel about this?

Why does God give us goals? God gave to Adam the goal to reach his perfection. Adam never reached this. Why did Adam never reach this? Was it because Adam had fallen under Eve who had fallen under Lucifer?

Commonly, people think that Adam never reached the goals set by God because of his fall. In a sense, that might be true. But a real Adam, a real child of God cannot permit himself to think like that. Thinking like that prevents you from ever coming above the fallen state of Adam.

Adam's goal was to reach perfection. Then, on Adam's way to perfection, Adam made a mistake, or he even made several mistakes. Please, answer the following questions for yourself: -- Was Adam relieved from his task to reach perfection because of making certain mistakes? -- Was Adam unable to grow because of having gone down for some time? -- Adam did not feel God any more after Adam's fall, but was God really away? -- After Adam's fall, Adam felt afraid of God, but was God all of a sudden really someone to be afraid of?

Adam did not lose his relation to God because of Adam's fall, but Adam lost his relation to God because Adam gave up the goal that God had given to him.

Is this not exactly the same for many of you? After you sinned did you then not think that now you never can reach the goals any more that God gave you? And consequently, you did give up the goals that God gave you. But suppose you would not have given up the goal that God gave you? After your fall, did God give up the goals for you, or did you yourself give up those goals?

Coming back now to the question of how much you should do to reach the goal which God gave you. God gave to us big goals, like the purpose to reach perfection. But in order to reach big goals, you have to be able to fulfil smaller goals. Actually, the purpose to reach your individual perfection will be reached when you are able to fulfil a large number of smaller goals.

So, if you are able to fulfil a smaller goal that God gave you, you are already advancing on your way to perfection. But are you able to fulfil a small goal which God gave you?

What must you do to fulfil a smaller goal given to you by God? You must do whatever it needs to fulfil that goal. Is it possible to determine in advance what it needs to fulfil a God-given goal? No, you never can say it before. Only by seriously striving for the fulfilment of a goal will you find out what it needs.

Are there justifications for not reaching the goal? Suppose you meet serious opposition? Suppose many other people do not do what they should? Suppose you worked like crazy to fulfil the goal and you suffered more than you ever imagined you could, is that a justification for not reaching the goal? In my opinion, none of these situations serve as justifications.

This might look strange to you. If you did all you could and you suffered a great deal, but everything and everyone was against you, and in the end you failed the goal, ..... you might feel much more to be pitied than that you want to try to start all over again, and still go on, and still reach the goal.....

Still, Adam is God's son, Eve is God's daughter. And the goals that God has set for you are good, and they must be fulfilled. It isn't Adam's way of thinking that there are excuses for not being able to fulfil a goal. For the sake of God, for the sake of your own good future, for the sake of future generations, God's good goals cannot be given up. They must be fulfilled, whatever it takes.

When you failed the first time, then try it a second time. When you failed the second time, then try it a third time. When you failed for more than hundred times, then still try it one more time. Because it is better for God, it is better for yourself, and it is better for everyone. To give up is always the worst you could do. There always is another way of trying. You always can learn from the last time you failed.

When did you do enough in God's eyes? You did enough when you reached the goals set by God. Will God condemn you if you failed a goal? No, God will never condemn you if you seriously try to do it again and if you repented for your mistakes.

God will not give up on you. The problem is not in God, but the problem could be that you might want to give up on yourself. You might want to think that you anyway cannot do it. But then what? Does this bring any benefit to you? Who is responsible to fulfil a goal given to you? You are responsible. And if other people failed to do what they should? Then you still are responsible. Responsible is not the same as guilty. Guilty is a word which had to be introduced because of Satan's work. No, you are responsible. Responsible means that you are supposed to respond to God's question to you.

God's question and demand to you is that you will grow. Growth is only possible by fulfilling goals. You can't grow if you don't fulfil goals. You are responsible for your own growth. You must respond to God's love, and if you do and never give up, and ask God what to do, and always again are willing to learn from God, then you will grow and you will be able to fulfil the goals. (Bk 101-28)

There is the Three-Dimensional position of each person in God's world. There are three positions which determine your identity: family position, formula-course position and mission position.

In God's universe, created by God, there is one underlying concept for the creation of both the internal world, and the external world. Therefore, there is resemblance between internal world and external world. When we understand about physical principles, then we have at our disposal a framework for understanding spiritual principles.

In mathematics, the position of something is determined by its position on three axes: a vertical axis, a horizontal one, and a depth axis. Likewise, our spiritual position, and therefore our identity, is determined by our positions on three axes: the family position, which can be compared with the vertical axis; the formula-course position, which can be compared with the depth axis; and the mission position, which can be compared to the horizontal axis.

There are three segments in the circle, which correspond to the three mathematical dimensions (try to see the drawing in three-dimensional space).

To deepen our understanding, let us compare the identity of man with that of a cow. First of all, what determines the identity of a cow, is that the cow is born from cows, therefore is a cow, and not a dog. This is the family position. Second, what determines the identity of a cow, is how old the cow is. Is it a calf, or did it already give birth to other calves? This is the formula-course position, which actually is the growth position. Third, what determines the identity of a cow is its mission. Is the cow a milking cow or is it meant to be slaughtered for its meat? The cow could also be a wild cow.

The farmer can be compared with God. The formula-course training can be compared with the different treatments the farmer gives to the cow during progressive ages. Finally, the farmer will treat a milking cow very different from a meat cow. (Bk 101-32)

Before we begin with making a design for house, land and furniture, we should ask ourselves about the fundamental meaning of house and land. The basic of architecture is the question about the function of a house.

Of course, in worldly architecture, that question is also asked. The answers usually are something like: a house to live in for a wealthy family, or a house fit to be a school for children, and so on. These answers are not wrong, but they passed over the more fundamental question about function in the sense of mission given by God.

God created man, and God gave purpose to man. God, therefore, also is the One to be asked about the purpose of a building. When you must design and build a house for a certain customer, you should find out about his individual situation. But, in this article, i want to speak about the more general function of houses.

Generally speaking all houses that are not stables for animals are houses for man. Let us focus on houses for families. In God's world, no house is built for an individual, because individuals don't exist in God's ideal. Houses are built for families, or for bigger groups, but never for individuals. When a house is built for a family, then that house should serve the mission and life's purpose of that family. This might look quite obvious, but how to derive practical principles from that fact?

Let us try to focus on the concept of creation. God created man, God created nature. Man creates houses. Is it not logical that when man creates houses that man looks at how God created His creation? What is a house? A house for a family can be likened to what is a body for an individual. I already said that in God's ideal no house is going to be built for an individual. God created a body for each individual. An individual is seen here as the reality of a person being a spiritual being who has an eternal spiritual life but a rather short physical life. You see, a house, in a certain sense, is a short-living physical construction, just like our physical bodies are.

We have come to our first essential principle: A house is for a family what a body is for an individual. Note that the human body has not only a physical component, but also a spiritual one, which is eternal. In the same way, a house is not only a physical house, but also exists as a spiritual reality.

What is a body for an individual? A body of an individual has a few major functions:
1. It is an instrument for development of the spirit, during physical existence.
2. It is an instrument of multiplication.
3. It is a device for passing on love.
4. It is an instrument for having dominion over the things of creation.
5. It is an apparatus for protection of the spirit.

Let us now look at what should be a house.
1. A house must be an instrument for development of the spiritual life of a family, during its physical existence.
2. A house should be an environment in which children and grandchildren can grow up.
3. A house should be a device for passing on the love of a family to the world outside.
4. A house should also have the function of serving the family's dominion over the things of creation.
5. A house should serve for the protection of the family.

We already found five very essential principles which must give us the standard for how a house should be designed. But i want to add to this a few qualities that a house should possess, which we also can find from studying the qualities of a body.
1. A body is created by God as a living entity of creation that is able to live in perfect harmony with nature around it. A house should also be designed in the same way.
2. A body serves to enable man to perform all necessary functions. That the body serves as an instrument for the spirit has just been mentioned. Added here is that a body must also be fit to perform many smaller functions. The body is an organic unit which is able to serve many smaller functions. Likewise, a house should be built in such a way that it is an organic unit serving many functions of the family's members.
3. One human body is created to be fit for fighting, another human body is created to be fit for high scientific performance, and again other human bodies are qualified instruments for making music. Like every human body is created with other qualities, also houses for families must be fitting to the special needs of that particular family. Furthermore, the houses should fit in a larger plan of houses together forming cities.

I want to add two more principles which are valid for both bodies and houses.
1. Bodies are made in the same way that God created all nature. There are certain forms, colors, components which God used in order to reach this goal. Those forms, colors, components are selected by God so that the physical performance of the human body is maximal. Also houses should be made with forms, colors, components to maximize performance of the houses.
2. Bodies are made as an expression of God's love and also as a medium for God's love. All of creation is made to pass on and express God's love to man. Houses must also be made like that.

Let us summarize what we found out by comparing houses with human bodies. We have found TEN FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES FOR BUILDING FAMILY HOUSES.
1. A family house should serve the spiritual life of the family.
2. A family house should serve training of its members.
3. A family house should enable the family to serve people outside of the family.
4. A family house should allow the family to have dominion over their things of creation. 5. A family house should protect the family's existence.
6. A family house should be in perfect harmony with nature.
7. A family house should in itself be an organic unit serving all functions which the family must fulfill.
8. A family house should be made fit to the special task of the family in the larger context of the society in which this family lives.
9. A family house should be made with nature-like forms, colors, components in order to maximize performance of the house.
10. A family house should be made to express and pass on God's love.

Haven't we found 10 exciting and beautiful principles for architecture, just by learning from God's masterful creation of the body? If we are able to get rid of our human evil pride and arrogance we can create the most wonderful houses in which man feels stimulated, at home, and protected every day of his life.

Let us now go from principle to practice. Each of these ten principles demand to be practiced in many ways. Let us examine one example for each of these principles.
Example principle 1: Because a house should serve spiritual life of a family, there should be a room serving as temple for the family.
Example principle 2: Because a house should serve training of its members, there should be place for music instruments and practice.
Example principle 3: Because a house should allow the family to serve people outside, there should be a room where guests from outside can be received.
Example principle 4: Because a house should allow the family to have dominion over the creation, there should be animal stables.
Example principle 5: Because a house should protect the family, it must be made in such a way that it is strong in spirit world.
Example principle 6: Because a house should be in harmony with nature, it should preferably not be built from materials that are gotten from a far-away country.
Example principle 7: Because a house should be an organic unit serving different functions, the toilet should be placed on a place that it doesn't interfere with for instance the function of the food room.
Example principle 8: Because each house should be made fit to the tasks of a certain family living in a larger society, the geographic location of the house should be determined in relation to houses belonging to a larger community.
Example principle 9: As a house should be created in nature-like forms, the form of a corner should rather not be simply rectangular. That form isn't found in nature as we see it with our eyes.
Example principle 10: Because a house should express God's love, the house should be designed and built in a mood of love for God, in order to bring God's love in every single part of the house. (Bk 101-42)

981115 - Two evolutionary ways to build strong constructions - Shell - and skeleton construction

The construction of a house can be compared to the creation of a body. When we study how God created bodies of animals and how architects designed constructions of houses, we can discover a striking resemblance.

When you make a house, or when God created a body, it is always necessary that such a house or body is constructed in strong ways. There are two fundamentally different solutions to this problem. Let us call the more simple solution the SHELL CONSTRUCTION, and the second more advanced solution the SKELETON CONSTRUCTION.

The shell construction is applied in the creation of for example molluscs. God put an external shell around the soft body of an animal. The strength of the construction is entirely in that shell of harder material on the outside. In architecture that solution is chosen when a building is made with walls of concrete plates, or with walls of brickwork, or with walls made of wooden plates.

The skeleton construction is applied in the creation of all animals having a skeleton inside of their bodies. This type of construction is also applied for buildings. For example when a wooden skeleton is made and afterwards the walls are filled up with some material linking the skeleton.

Of course, when we study buildings, we can see that in many of them there was applied a combination of these two construction methods.

The shell construction is a more primitive solution to make a strong body. The skeleton construction is more advanced, as it allows a maximum of creativity in the use of materials and forms for the building.

All animals that were created according to the principle of shell construction share more or less the same form. Animals with skeletons could be created in a great variety of beautiful forms, allowing for even more functions to be fulfilled with such bodies.

When furniture is made, for example a table or a cabinet, the same two construction methods can be applied. A simple, but not so strong cabinet, is made by linking together a number of wooden plates. Then that cabinet is finished. The form always is rather simple. The strength of the cabinet entirely depends on the material of the plates and of the connections between the plates.

When a cabinet is made by first making a strong skeleton, in many possible forms, then that cabinet can be finished using a great variety of materials. Such cabinets are always strong, and can be made in very beautiful ways.

When the skeleton-construction is used for houses, then we have many advantages: 1. strong basic construction 2. a great variety of construction designs is possible 3. a large choice for "fill-up materials" 4. possibility to finish the building in many creative forms 5. allows people to have a big part in building their own house.
